Convert your labels
Many labels share a letter page with a packing slip or receipt below the label.
Settings apply to every page and are remembered in this browser. Adjust any single label by dragging its crop box.
Drag the box to cover the whole label, including its border. Corners resize it.
When you print: choose your label printer, set the paper size to 4 × 6 in (or 100 × 150 mm), and set scale to 100% or Actual size. Turn off “Fit to page” and “Shrink oversized pages”.
01 / How it worksHow to convert a shipping label to 4x6
- Download the label PDF from your marketplace or shipping service as you normally would. A letter-size or A4 file is fine.
- Drop the file (or several) into the converter. Each page is checked for the label automatically. For sheets with 2 or 4 labels, set Labels per page first.
- Look at the preview. If the box misses part of the label, drag its corners or choose a different label position. Barcodes must be fully inside the box.
- Select Make PDF, then download or open the file and print at 100% on 4 × 6 labels.
Labels from PDF files stay as sharp as the original: the converter places the original page content on the new page instead of turning it into a picture, scaled to fit and centred. A landscape label is turned to portrait automatically, or you can pick the rotation.

Every service changes its layouts over time and by account settings, so treat this table as general guidance and always check the preview before printing. If a service can produce 4 × 6 labels directly, that setting is usually the simplest fix for future labels.

03 / eBayeBay shipping label not 4x6?
When eBay gives you a label on a full 8.5 × 11 page, a 4 × 6 thermal printer shrinks the whole page, so the label prints small, or the printer cuts most of it off. Drop the PDF into the converter: auto-detect looks for the label's border. If the page also has a packing slip, choose whether to drop it or keep it as its own 4 × 6 page.

04 / Letter-size labelsUSPS, Pirate Ship and other 8.5x11 labels to 4x6
Many shipping services produce letter-size PDFs for home printers, often with one label in the top half and instructions below, or two labels per sheet. Set Labels per page to match: each label becomes its own 4 × 6 page, and empty spots on a partly used sheet are skipped.

05 / ReturnsConvert an Amazon return label to 4x6
Amazon return labels are usually a letter-size PDF with the carrier label and return instructions on one page. Choose “Amazon return label (letter)” or keep auto-detect, check that the label and its barcodes are inside the box, then make the PDF. Some returns offer a QR code for drop-off instead of a printed label; then there is nothing to convert. See also printing an Amazon return label on 4x6.

The converted PDF is exactly 4 × 6 in (288 × 432 points) or 100 × 150 mm per page. Most sizing problems come from the print dialog, not the file: choose the label printer, set the paper size to 4 × 6 in or 100 × 150 mm, print at 100% or Actual size, and print one page first to check.

If the label still prints tiny or rotated, the viewer is probably fitting the page to a different paper size. Re-open the PDF, confirm the paper size is 4 × 6, and switch off any “fit” or “shrink” option. The label printing troubleshooting guide covers more cases.

Are my labels uploaded anywhere?
No. The page loads the converter code once, then your browser reads, crops and builds the PDF on your own device. Label files are not sent to Label Ninja or any other server. Only your settings, such as the output size, are remembered in this browser.
My PDF has two or four labels on one page. Can I split them?
Yes. Set Labels per page to match the sheet. Each label is found inside its part of the page and becomes its own 4 × 6 page. Empty spots on a partly used sheet are skipped.
What happens to the packing slip?
By default it is left out and only the label is kept. Choose “Add it as its own 4 × 6 page” under Packing slip to get the slip as a separate page right after its label.
Why will my PDF not open?
If the PDF needs a password to open, the browser cannot read it. Open it in your PDF viewer, save or print it to a new PDF without the password, and add that copy. A file that was only partly downloaded will not open either; download it again. PDFs that open normally but are locked against editing still work: those pages are copied as 300 dpi images.
Will the converted label scan?
Labels from PDF files keep their original quality because the page content is reused rather than redrawn as a picture. Make sure the crop includes the whole barcode, print at 100%, and test-scan one label if your carrier is strict.
Is it free? Are there limits?
Yes, it is free with no account and no batch limit. The practical limit is your device's memory; very large batches may be slow on older phones.
Does Label Ninja buy postage or connect to eBay or Amazon?
No. This tool only reshapes labels you already have. Label Ninja is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by eBay, Amazon, USPS, UPS, FedEx, Pirate Ship or any printer brand.
